The Biontech Water Ionizers display a numerical value indicating the filter usage.

This feature has been integrated and calculated by the inbuilt flux sensor, so it is based on the actual state of the filter cartridge, not just by measuring time and/or water flow.

The life of the filter cartridge varies according to water quality, inclusive of sediment & contaminant levels which vary regionally and seasonally according to water source.

When the time comes to replace cartridges, the numerical value displayed flickers and voice supported messages are given. Because the numerical value is always there, you can monitor the filter cartridge level of use throughout the life of the filter and know when you are getting close to needing replacement cartridges.

Based on a usage amount of approximately 10 litres per day, the 1st filter will last for approximately 8-10 months and the 2nd filter last for approximately 10-12 months respectively.
