Both the BioChef Axis Compact Juicer and the BioChef Axis Cold Press Juicer have 150w motors and run at 80RPM, however the type of motor differs between the two models. The Axis Compact has a D.C. motor, which it is not as ‘heavy duty’ as the A.C. motor that is present in the Axis.

A D.C. motor has been strategically chosen for the Axis Compact juicer to maintain the smaller size, lighter weight, and lower price point. Consequently, the Axis Compact becomes the perfect masticating juicer for those starting out in the world of cold press juicing.

Functionality:

A unique advantage of the BioChef Axis Cold Press Juicer is that it has the functionality to double up as both a juicer and a food processing machine. You can make the switch by simply replacing the juicing screen with the processing screen, and using alongside the included mincing attachments. This allows the food to be crushed by the auger and puree the ingredients to make natural and preservative-free nut butters, baby food, dips and purees, bliss balls, pasta, fruit sorbets, ice cream, and much more!
